Since our founding in downtown Boise in 1902, St. Luke’s has been committed to the health of the communities we serve. And as Boise and the greater Treasure Valley have grown in the past 120-plus years, so have we, consistently building and upgrading our facilities to provide nationally recognized patient care and health-related services.
St. Luke’s Master Plan for our Boise campus provides the blueprint by which we'll continue to meet the growing health care needs of the community. The Master Plan is the result of years of extensive study, planning, and collaboration with key members of our community, including the City of Boise, the Ada County Highway District, and area residents. This exhaustive, thorough process included dozens of workshops, open houses, and neighborhood association meetings, and the plan has evolved—and improved—with input we've received along the way.
The creation of the plan was guided by two fundamental priorities: First and foremost, the needs of our patients; and second, urban and transportation planning objectives. The result is a plan for a world-class health care facility that emphasizes patient safety and evidence-based design while incorporating significant and needed public infrastructure improvements that will enhance the overall connectivity of the surrounding area. The project also underscores St. Luke’s economic commitment and benefit to Idaho’s capital city—our home city.
St. Luke’s is community owned and operated. We look forward to serving the people of our city and region for many years to come. We welcome any questions you may have about our campus plan, and are grateful for your interest.

The first phase of St. Luke’s Boise campus development project is done! The Idaho Elks Children’s Pavilion at the corner of Jefferson and Avenue B opened on September 3, 2019.
Construction is now complete on a new, joint central plant and parking garage. These new facilities provide much needed upgrades to the Boise Medical Center, improving access to care and helping meet the health care needs of the growing population in the Treasure Valley.
