da Vinci® Robotic Surgery

The da Vinci® Xi robotic surgery system allows surgeons to operate with extreme precision and control.

Advanced Surgical Expertise

St. Luke’s urologists are highly trained in a broad range of surgical procedures to treat disorders and conditions of the male reproductive organs and urinary tract in women and men. We operate with a goal of correcting the problem while causing as little disruption as possible to surrounding tissue.

Today, several less invasive surgical options are available to patients facing urologic surgery. The most common of these is laparoscopy, which uses small incisions. One of the most advanced categories of surgery for prostatectomy and other urologic procedures is da Vinci® robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery.

Conditions we treat with surgery include prostate cancer, ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction, bladder and kidney cancer, vesicoureteral reflux, kidney stones, reconstruction of the bladder, and more.

Robotic Partial Nephrectomy with Firefly Imaging

Each year, approximately 62,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with kidney cancer. Fortunately, most will be cured through surgery. Our goal is to remove your tumor without damaging organs and tissue in the process. St. Luke’s Urology is at the forefront of organ-sparing surgery and robotic techniques. Our kidney cancer surgery involves small incisions and advanced imaging techniques that guide your surgeon in the most accurate removal of cancerous tissue.
