We have been a proud member of the Wood River Valley community for more than 20 years, first as Hailey Medical Clinic and today as St. Luke's Clinic – Family Medicine. From kids and teens to moms and dads, we’re dedicated to keeping Blaine County families healthy. Our wide scope of services includes:

  • School and sports physicals
  • Adult medicine: physicals, diabetes and asthma care, skin cancer screening, acute and chronic pain management
  • Pediatric medicine: well baby exams, immunizations, diabetes and asthma care
  • Women’s health: obstetrics, annual exams, contraception, pre-conceptual care/counseling, perimenopause/menopause, episodic care
  • Urology: visiting specialists provide care for conditions like pelvic organ prolapse; overactive bladder; enlarged prostate (BPH); prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer; erectile dysfunction; incontinence; and male infertility; as well as procedures such as circumcision, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and prostate biopsy
If your condition requires a specialist, we’ll help refer you to the appropriate provider.

At our clinic, we offer same-day appointments during the week as well as walk-in care on Saturdays.

    Biography

    Stephen A. Brassell, MD, FACS is a urologic oncologist with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and the management of complex urologic cancers. He is the medical director for urologic oncology, as well as medical director for St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise.

    During his Army career, Dr. Brassell completed an internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by two years as battalion surgeon with the 10th Special Forces Group. While at Walter Reed he also served as a urologic oncologist, and was appointed the associate director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research, a multi-institutional national prostate cancer program, and assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

    His military courses include airborne, flight surgery, dive medical, and cold weather/mountain warfare training. He has received a Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal among other awards. Dr. Brassell chaired over 30 research studies and has published and presented over 70 articles in the urologic literature with a focus on urologic cancer.

    Biography

    Caitlin P. Hopeman, MD enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, and feels privileged to be and educator and partner in helping them improve their health and navigate the health care system. She has a passion for nutrition, healthy lifestyles, childhood development, and taking a holistic and functional approach to medicine.

    Prior to her medical education, Dr. Hopeman earned her bachelor's degree in molecular biology and biochemistry with a minor in Spanish at Middlebury College. She also earned her master’s in business administration at Dartmouth College through a combined program with the Geisel School of Medicine and the Tuck School of Business.

    Dr. Hopeman was an outdoor educator and guide for four years for the National Outdoor Leadership School, leading trips throughout the western United States, Alaska, and Patagonia, Chile.

    Biography

    Robert Jackson, MD has special interest in the treatment of male infertility and men’s health issues such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and hypogonadism. He has advanced training in the surgical management of erectile dysfunction and microsurgical techniques for varicocele repair and vasectomy reversal. He also treats a full spectrum of general urologic conditions, including voiding dysfunction, nephrolithiasis, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Jackson uses minimally invasive treatments like Rezum™ and the UroLift® System to treat BPH as an alternative to drugs or more invasive therapies.

    Dr. Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and is a member of the American Urologic Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
