  • Biography

    Leah Fleming, MD specializes in clinical genetics and medical biochemical genetics. She focuses on caring for children and adults with a wide range of conditions, including chromosomal disorders such as Smith Magenis Syndrome and metabolic disorders like phenylketonuria, together with a team that includes two genetic counselors and a metabolic dietitian.

    Brittney Knyszek, MS, LCGC has experience and expertise in explaining complex genetic concepts in a clear, understandable way, and in providing a range of perspectives for those faced with difficult decisions. She has a special interest and knowledge in the realm of hearing loss as it relates to genetics.

    Brittney earned her master's degree in genetic counseling from Case Western Reserve University and nearby community and specialty hospitals.

    Rachel Westman, MS, LCGC specializes in general pediatric and and adult genetics, biochemical genetics, and also works with patients and families with neuromuscular conditions.

    Rachel earned her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in bioethics from the University of Idaho and her master's degree in genetic counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. She is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
