Bubba earned his bachelor's degree in social work and master's degree in social work both at Boise State University. His career experience includes working with teenagers in the foster care system and young adults transitioning out of foster care into adulthood.

Bubba enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and two grandchildren. He is passionate about sports; visiting filming locations; vinyl records; the 1980s art, movies, music; and being involved in the community. Bubba has served as a Special Olympics volunteer for 14 years and loves being a part of the Boise Community Stars team/family.
