At St. Luke’s Children’s Pediatrics, our team of pediatricians is dedicated to building a relationship with your family to support your child’s health, every step of the way. Each of our physicians is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and specializes in the needs of infants, children, and adolescents.

    Weekend hours are available by appointment at our Celebration Ave location in Meridian. One of our physicians will always be on call. If you need to inquire about your child's illness or injury when our office is closed, please call (208) 345-0715 and follow the prompts to leave a message for a triage nurse. In most cases, we will be able to respond to your call within 2 hours. If the physician needs to be involved, the triage nurse will contact him or her for you. Please limit your calls to urgent problems that cannot wait until office hours. We recommend that you take your child to the emergency room for emergencies only.

The information in our symptom checker is designed with patient safety as the highest priority. Each care guide is reviewed by physicians, specialists and nurses for accuracy.

    Biography

    Kim King, NP enjoys creating a trusting, healing, and preventive approach to providing care for children. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Boise State University and her master's degree in nursing with an emphasis on pediatric primary care from the University of South Alabama. Prior to earning her advanced degree, Kim worked as a registered nurse in St. Luke's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the outpatient Children's Specialty Clinic.

    Originally from Boise, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Her hobbies include camping, traveling, and her kids' sporting events. She also enjoys traveling and hiking in the Sawtooth and White Cloud mountain ranges.

    Biography

    Alicia Lachiondo, MD earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology with a supplementary major in pre-professional studies from the University of Notre Dame. She is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis.

    Originally from Boise, Dr. Lachiondo enjoys spending time with her nephews. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, dancing, and cooking for friends and family.

    Biography

    Anthony Liccini, MD is passionate about preventive health and promoting healthy child development. He has special interests in the care of children with autism spectrum disorder.  One of his favorite parts of pediatrics is building relationships with families and getting to watch kids grow from babies to adults.

    In his free time, Dr. Liccini and his wife enjoy being outdoors, skiing, and hiking. They are both thrilled to call the beautiful Treasure Valley home.

    Stephanie Marria, DNP fosters a collaborative and trusting relationship with her patients and families to promote healthy childhood development.

    Stephanie earned her doctor of nursing practice degree in primary care pediatrics from the University of Washington. Prior to earning her advanced degree, Stephanie worked as a registered nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Stephanie is originally from Boise and enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dog. Her hobbies include running, skiing, reading, and baking.

    Linda Schaffer, MD, FAAP earned her bachelor's degree in medical science at Northwestern University.

    Dr. Schaffer is married with two grown children. Her hobbies include walking, biking, swimming, yoga, and reading.

    Biography

    Amanda Stinger, MD, MPH is a general pediatrician with a broad range of interests including newborn care, maternal health, breastfeeding, nutrition, global health and adolescent health. She enjoys listening to families and partnering with them on their journey to health and wellness.

    Dr. Stinger graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology and a minor in Spanish. She then attended Emory University for medical school where she did a dual MD/MPH program in global epidemiology and graduated summa cum laude and as part of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During her time at Emory, she did community-based participatory research in Paraguay, was president of the Medical Student Senate and worked at the Emory Global Health Institute. Dr. Stinger completed her general pediatrics residency at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital where she was a part of the global health track, did community work in Kenya, and received the Family-Centered Resident Award.

    Outside of work, she enjoys running, mountain biking, skiing and spending time with her husband and two children.

    Shalee Sucher, LAC provides acupuncture services for Children’s Integrative Medicine and Women’s Services at St. Luke’s. She is also trained in Chinese herbal medicine and believes strongly in the power of food as medicine. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and has two decades of experience with yoga and meditation practices. 

    Shalee also has a master’s degree in literature from Kingston University, in London, and an undergraduate degree in journalism communications from Utah State University. She is originally from Idaho but has spent several years living abroad in western Europe as well as New York City, New Orleans, and Austin, Texas. She is married with two dogs and loves to travel, read, hike, and spend time with her close friends and family.

    Hilary Warren, MD, FAAP is a pediatrician with passions for reaching out to underserved children, fighting childhood hunger, and preventive care. As part of her practice she works to develop close relationships with her patients and their families. She is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis.

    Dr. Warren is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and loves teaching medical students and resident physicians about taking care of children. In her time away from work, she loves to travel and spend time with her family. They love to be outside and hike and camp as much as they can.

    Biography

    Virginia Watterson, LCSW has experience in both medical and private counseling settings providing psychotherapy, care coordination, and medical social work. She employs cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and executive function disorder education/treatment. 

    Virginia works collaboratively with the clinic team to support mental health and parenting needs for the patients and their families. She enjoys working with kids of all ages and their families. 

    Virginia earned her master’s degree in social work from Boise State University.
