At St. Luke’s Children’s Treasure Valley Pediatrics, our team of pediatricians is dedicated to building a relationship with your family to support your child’s health, every step of the way. Each of our physicians is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and specializes in the needs of infants, children, and adolescents.

Use Our Symptom Checker for Advice 

Our symptom checker offers educational information on various conditions, and provides advice regarding home care or first aid, when appropriate, as well as instructions on when you may need to call your provider, call 911, or go to an emergency department. It also offers dosage tables for common over-the-counter drugs.

The information in our symptom checker is designed with patient safety as the highest priority. Each care guide is reviewed by physicians, specialists and nurses for accuracy.

    Biography

    Alicia Lachiondo, MD earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology with a supplementary major in pre-professional studies from the University of Notre Dame. She is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis.

    Dr. Lachiondo is a Boise native who enjoys spending time with her nephews. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, dancing, and cooking for friends and family.

    Linda Schaffer, MD, FAAP earned her bachelor's degree in medical science at Northwestern University. She is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis.

    Dr. Schaffer is married with two grown children. Her hobbies include walking, biking, swimming, yoga, and reading.

    Sara Swoboda, MD is passionate about caring for children and their families. Prior to joining St. Luke's, she spent three years working on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.

    Biography

    Hilary Warren, MD, FAAP is a pediatrician with passions for reaching out to underserved children, fighting childhood hunger, and preventive care. As part of her practice she works to develop close relationships with her patients and their families. She is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis.

    Dr. Warren is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and loves teaching medical students and resident physicians about taking care of children. In her time away from work, she loves to travel and spend time with her family. They love to be outside and hike and camp as much as they can.

    Aaron M. Weiss, MD earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Utah. He is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis. Married with two children, Dr. Weiss enjoys hiking, bird watching, golf, basketball, kickball, personal computing and electronics, football (and fantasy football!), cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Children's Pavilion - Opening in 2019

Designed to meet the needs of kids, their families, and the people who care for them, this state-of-the-art facility on our downtown Boise campus will more than double our clinical space and improve vital services that keep care close to home. It will bring most of our pediatric specialists and services under one roof, allowing us to provide care more efficiently and easing the burden on parents and kids who will now be able to see several providers in one location in one day.
 

Kid for a Night

Help raise funds for St. Luke's Children's

Kid for a Night® emphasizes the fun in fundraising. This annual event encourages adults (21 and over) to act like kids again. Over 850 guests gather for an evening of games, activities, music, dancing, a silent auction, and a delicious dinner.
