By Laura Crawford, Notes and Announcements
May 9, 2018

Dr. Dave Hall was recently named Idaho Family Physician of the Year by the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Hall was honored during the 70th Annual Conference of the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians in Sun Valley. Dr. Hall was recognized for generous contributions to his profession, his medical education and his service and dedication to his community and to Idaho.

For the past 24 years, Dr. Hall has practiced rural family medicine at St. Luke’s Clinics – Payette Lakes Family Medicine and St. Luke’s McCall Medical Center, and has been a highly-valued and engaged member of the McCall Community. Throughout his career, Dr. Hall has served his community by doing broad scope family medicine in clinic and hospital settings. He also has served as hospital chief of medical staff, chaired hospital committees and has been active in teaching medical students and residents.

During the ceremony, Dr. Hall expressed his gratitude, saying that the honor he received was directly related to the physicians he has worked with throughout his career.

“The doctor that I’ve become is really a compilation of every doctor I’ve been in contact with over the years, through medical school and especially through residency.”
