Training for First Responders

From growing cities to mountain villages to rural communities, the Air St. Luke’s Regional Education and Simulation Lab (REAL) mobile unit delivers free, hands-on, advanced emergency training right to the doors of local EMTs, firefighters, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The REAL mobile unit features SimMan®, a programmable medical mannequin that displays vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing, and that can “die” and be brought back to life. Medical personnel can train and practice trauma scenarios to stay prepared for when actual emergencies arise.
