Thomas Ronay, MD, FACEP is a board-certified emergency physician with decades of experience in emergency and critical care medicine. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages, especially the opportunity that urgent care provides for teaching healthy living and primary prevention.
He has an extensive background in pre-hospital care and previously served as medical director for an emergency medical services (EMS) team. During this time, he developed specialty care systems for trauma, STEMI, and stroke in a diverse and growing county. He also enjoys teaching allied healthcare providers in the art of medicine.
Dr. Ronay is an FAA-certified Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) and an instrument-rated pilot. Originally from California, Dr. Ronay earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara prior to his medical training.
In his free time, Dr. Ronay enjoys visiting his two adult children with his wife, traveling, flying in Idaho’s back country, fly fishing, hiking, skiing, whitewater kayaking, and backpacking.
