Thomas Pintar, MD is involved in all aspects of nephrology care, and has special interest in difficult-to-control hypertension, fluid and electrolyte diseases, complex cases of glomerulonephritis, kidney transplantation, and the management of advanced chronic kidney disease, with or without dialysis.
Dr. Pintar enjoys developing personal and professional long-term relationships with patients, and works with you to manage your illness. He has particular interest in helping patients manage dialysis treatment at home; he believes this offers the best opportunity for successful outcomes and improved quality of life. Dr. Pintar also believes that the key to kidney disease care resides in patient and family education, so you're able to make informed decisions regarding care options.
Dr. Pintar received his medical degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also completed his residency training and served as chief medical resident.
