Danielle Pense-Nicholson, NP specializes in the care of hospitalized adults. She has served the Boise area in the acute setting as a registered nurse at St. Alphonsus in both a clinical and administrative role prior to joining St. Luke's, shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. She worked on the COVID unit and soon after began her studies as a nurse practitioner, and fell in love with her clinical rotation group and found hospital medicine to be her calling.

Hospitalists are doctors who specialize in caring for adults during a hospital stay. At St. Luke’s, our hospitalists are board-certified and specially trained to manage complex medical conditions and make accurate diagnoses.
Our hospitalist team also includes skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants who help with care delivery, teaching, and care coordination.
