Doctor of Physical Therapy
Kaitlin Hornick PT, DPT, Cert. DN is passionate about shoulder, knee, neck, and other complex spinal conditions and thrives with challenging multidimensional musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in movement pattern analysis and incorporates it into her evaluation and treatments to help patients learn more functional and pain free ways to move, both in daily life, and during sporting or higher-level recreational activities.
Kaitlin's interest in outpatient orthopedics stems from her experience as an athlete, having had both acute trauma and overuse injuries. She generally uses multimodal techniques for treatment, including a combination of manual therapy; therapeutic interventions and retraining abnormal movement patterns, which occur after injury; trauma or surgical interventions.
Kaitlin has a unique history in wound care and loves any added challenges her patients bring to the table. She loves to coordinate with other professions including, but not limited to, occupational therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, speech language pathology, and referring provider offices to ensure continuous and seamless care.
When she is not treating in the clinic you can find Kaitlin on long-distance backpacking trips, working cattle or farming, and country swing dancing around the Treasure Valley.
