About Dawn L. Aiken
Biography
Dawn Aiken, MSN, NP-C, FNP-BC is a dual-certified nurse practitioner with extensive training as an internal medicine hospitalist and acute care cardiac nurse practitioner. In her practice, Dawn enjoys partnering with individuals who are motivated and ready to take responsibility for their improved health. She seeks to empower those recently diagnosed with heart disease with the tools and knowledge to regain control of their health. And, she frequently collaborates with patients who are serious about preventing heart disease and taking their health to the next level.
Dawn believes that knowledge is the key to living a life of health and vitality. She is committed to ensuring her clients understand their body’s individual needs and provides clear explanations of complex, results-driven health information so it's easy for them to integrate healthy practices into their daily lives. She has a reputation for being thorough in determining the contributors to her clients’ cardiac disease and cardiac risk factors, allowing for efficient recovery and a return to healthy living.
Dawn earned her master's degree in nursing from Idaho State University. Today, she lives in Boise with her husband and their dog. Her two grown sons are pursuing dreams of their own. In her free time, Dawn enjoys being outdoors and can often be found on the trails near her home.
