Periodontitis

Periodontitis

Periodontitis is a serious gum disease in which the tissues and bones that support your teeth are damaged by the bacteria in plaque. Treatment may include cleaning, antibiotics, or surgery. If periodontitis is not treated, teeth can become loose and fall out or need to be removed.
