Puberty is a time of change for girls—and parents! This four-week series provides a comprehensive overview of the bodily changes and emotional ups and downs that accompany early adolescence.
We’ll discuss anatomy and physiology of both girls and boys; relationships with parents and friends; conception, pregnancy, and birth; and body image and self-esteem.
Experts in adolescent health will address concerns, including factual responses to questions about girls and boys.
Pre-teens must be accompanied by a parent; mom, dad or both are welcome to attend.
