Saltzer closure: Information for patients looking to access care

March 29, 2024

Following a decision from Utah-based parent company Intermountain Health, Saltzer Health is expected to officially close its clinic doors across the Treasure Valley on Friday, March 29. St. Luke’s is committed to helping fill gaps in access to care that this closure may create in our communities.

An option available to patients today is accessing St. Luke’s On-Demand Virtual Care service, which was established in 2021. Any patient who has a concern or experiences a gap in care can utilize this service.

On-Demand Virtual Care is available seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. New patients may visit St. Luke’s website or call 208-381-2329 to learn more.

Saltzer patients who are following their providers to a non-St. Luke's facility are encouraged to contact their new medical office to facilitate next steps or reschedule their appointments and orders.

The latest information regarding the new offices, locations and affiliations of former Saltzer providers is available online.
