Idaho Steelheads Jersey Auction Honors Veterans and Supports St. Luke’s Rehabilitation

By Chereen Langrill, News and Community
November 5, 2015

Purchase tickets to an Idaho Steelheads game for Friday, Nov. 6 or Saturday, Nov. 7 and support St. Luke’s Rehabilitation. Both games begin at 7 p.m. at CenturyLink Arena. In addition, during both games military-themed Steelheads jerseys will be auctioned. Money raised through the special ticket sales and the jersey auctions will be used to help St. Luke’s Rehabilitation purchase a functional electrical stimulation (FES) bicycle.

Functional electrical stimulation stimulates the peripheral nerves that connect the spinal cord to muscles in the body. That stimulation enables muscles to move. People with little or no function in their lower limbs can use an FES bicycle to move their legs.

The military-themed jersey honors Idaho’s veterans in celebration of Veterans Day, which is observed on Nov. 11.

Tickets are $15 each, and each ticket includes a meal voucher. For each ticket purchased, $5 will be donated to St. Luke’s Rehabilitation.

To order tickets:

  • Go to www.igrouptix.com/idahosteelheads
  • Enter username: STLUKES
  • Enter the password reflecting the day you choose to attend: FRIDAY or SATURDAY
  • Select the number of tickets you would like to purchase and click “find seats”
  • Transaction is completed after your credit card information is entered

Note: Ticket orders must be placed 8 hours prior to the game date or will be subject to availability.
