St. Luke's and Ride Idaho Hold Bike Rodeos in Hailey and Twin Falls

August 5, 2014

St. Luke’s and Ride Idaho are teaming up to present a free, hands-on bike safety learning event for kids.

The Bike Rodeos will take place in Hailey, Thursday, August 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  at Hop Porter Park, 209 E. Buillon, and in Twin Falls, Saturday, August  9 from 11 a.m.  to 1 p.m. at St. Luke's Magic Valley, 801 Pole Line Road, West.

Bicyclists ages 5 and up are invited to attend. These events will include helmet checks, bike inspections, and a drawing to win one of four bikes. Participants will learn and practice bicycle-handling skills that will increase their enjoyment of bicycling and could someday save their lives. Parents are invited to participate, too. All participants should bring their bikes and helmets.
