Today's Heart Tip: See Your Doctor

Marcos Daccarett, MD
Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist
St. Luke’s Clinic – Idaho Cardiology Associates, Boise
By Anna Fritz, Health and Wellness
February 20, 2014

It’s important to see your doctor every year, especially as you get older, if you are overweight or sedentary, or if you have high-risk habits such as tobacco or excessive alcohol use. Building a relationship of trust with your doctor over time can help you adopt healthier habits, improve your heart numbers, and catch conditions early, when they are most treatable.

Dr. Daccarett's heart advice: “Stay active!”

February is Heart Month, so kick start your best year yet with 28 days of heart health. Every day in February St. Luke’s will send a heart health tip directly to your email. It’s easy to subscribe!

We’re also offering Free Heart Seminars throughout the month. Click here to find one in your area.
