Spiritual Care

Our chaplains offer compassionate presence and support that honors diversity and fosters connection along life’s pathways.

By Your Side, Offering Hope and Strength

Illness, injury, and trauma can disrupt the values, beliefs, and relationships that shape you and your life. Spiritual care can help facilitate wholeness and healing during your hospitalization.

St. Luke’s chaplains are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Spiritual care is provided with respect for all faith traditions, including care for those who are not religious. In the hospital, you can reach us by asking any staff member to page the chaplain. You may also call us anytime at (208) 381-2100.

Interfaith Chapels and Restorative Spaces

Sanctuaries of Peace and Healing

St. Luke’s invites you to use our chapels and gardens to nurture your spiritual and emotional healing. Each space provides a quiet, confidential environment for prayer, meditation and reflection. They are wheelchair accessible and welcoming to all. Our hope is that these spaces will revitalize your heart and recharge your spirit.

Caring Presence

“The heart of spiritual care is helping patients, families, and staff feel seen, heard and loved in their journey on this earth and as they leave it”.

- Krysta, St. Luke’s Chaplain

Caring Presence

“As a chaplain, I believe pain deserves to be listened to, not rushed away. Spiritual care creates space for people to name what hurts and to find meaning and support within it.”

- Andrew, St. Luke’s Chaplain
