About Kayler N. Detmer

Biography

Kayler Detmer, PA-C is a certified physician assistant currently working in pediatrics. She has special interests in rural and preventive medicine, female reproductive health, and sports medicine with an emphasis on the health of female athletes. Kayler is passionate about serving her community and providing her patients with individualized holistic care to empower her patients and support their healthy development. 

Born and raised in Twin Falls, Kayler earned her bachelor's degree in human biology with a concentration in child development and performance from Stanford University. She was also a member of the Stanford softball team and president of the Student Athlete Community Service club. Kayler was the founding leader of the Stanford chapter of Matriculate, a nonprofit seeking to provide one-on-one support to low income, high achieving high school students during the college application process. Kayler is eager to utilize her prior experiences to serve the Magic Valley. 

Kayler also has interests in international medically underserved communities. She participated in a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic and hopes to contribute to more service trips in the future. She is also a National Health Service Corps Scholar devoted to serving communities in need.

In her free time, Kayler enjoys softball, sports, baking, fishing, hiking, reading, and traveling.
