Brain Tumors

A brain tumor is a mass of abnormal cells inside the brain. St. Luke’s offers many treatment options including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. The highly trained neurosurgeons at the St. Luke's Brain Tumor Program collaborate closely with the team at St. Luke's Cancer Institute throughout a patient's care experience. Together, they manage a Central Nervous System Tumor Board attended by a multidisciplinary team including experts in cranial surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, pathology, genetics, and physical therapy/neurologic rehabilitation to discuss strategies to ensure your best outcome and a successful recovery.

To support you along the way, our integrative medicine program includes massage, acupuncture, and music therapy. Physical, speech, and occupational therapies after your treatment can also help with everyday routines.
