St. Luke's Clinic – Salmon River Family Medicine

Our team sees people of all ages, through all phases of life, whether you need preventive care or treatment for a specific condition or acute illness. We promote the concept of a medical home, emphasizing a continuous relationship with a provider coordinating care for both wellness and illness. We believe that knowing you over many years, and knowing your family, helps us understand how your healthcare impacts your life. 

At our clinic, we offer a wide scope of services, including women’s health, obstetrics, annual exams, immunizations for children and adults, family planning, skin biopsies and lesion removals, diabetes management, and sports medicine. If your condition requires a specialist, we’ll help refer you to the appropriate provider.

We also offer orthopedic and physical therapy for adults and children to help with recovery from an injury, surgery, or to manage a chronic issue like arthritis.

The information in our symptom checker is designed with patient safety as the highest priority. Each care guide is reviewed by physicians, specialists and nurses for accuracy.

    Jonathan Currey, MD graduated from Hope College with a bachelor's degree in business management.  Dr. Currey’s professional interests include providing a full-spectrum of care in a rural area with emphasis on emergency medicine and obstetrics, including C-sections. 

    Dr. Currey delivers babies at St. Luke's McCall.

    David Hall, MD has professional interest in the care of newborns and children, preventive medicine for all ages, dermatologic procedures, and sports medicine. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Washington. He also earned a French degree from Universitè de Grenoble.

    Rachelle Hamell, FNP graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She earned her master's degree, nurse practitioner, from Idaho State University in Pocatello. She and her husband have been happy to live in and raise two daughters in Riggins. She enjoys the privilege of providing many aspects of family medicine to the community, including pediatrics, preventive medicine, and acute care.
