  • Travel Medicine


    April D. Southwick, RN, NP, MPH, MSN has a certificate in travel health through the International Society of Travel Medicine. She is the manager of St. Luke's travel and immunization clinic, and has been involved in travel medicine at St. Luke's since 2008. She began her career as a registered nurse in 1994, then earned her certification as an adult and geriatric nurse practitioner in 2000. April enjoys music, spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and traveling when she has a chance.

    Sarah Sparks, FNP is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and has particular interests in travel medicine, immunizations, and infectious disease. She is also experienced in the management of acute and chronic disease.

    Sarah earned both her bachelor's in nursing and her master's in nursing, family nurse practitioner, from Idaho State University. She brings years of experience in both primary care as well as specialty care to her patients.
