Diabetes and Pregnancy

St. Luke's Diabetes and Pregnancy Program connects you with a variety of providers dedicated to supporting you and your pregnancy. This program is not just for women who have diabetes or pre-diabetes, but for those who may be at risk, such as women who struggle with weight management and/or metabolic health and are considering pregnancy in the near future.

We offer:

  • Preconception counseling
  • Medication management
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Prenatal ultrasounds and non-stress testing
  • Lactation counseling
  • Behavioral health consultation/support
  • Diabetes education
  • Complication surveillance
  • Delivery planning in coordination with your OB-GYN
  • Coordination with lifestyle medicine and bariatric surgery, if needed

In addition to your OB/GYN, our team includes specialists from St. Luke’s maternal fetal medicine, endocrinology, Humphreys Diabetes Center, behavioral health and lactation to optimize outcomes for both mom and baby.
