When a skin condition affects a child, it can affect the entire family. We understand the impact healthy skin can have on comfort, confidence, and quality of life. The Treasure Valley is fortunate to have a specially trained pediatric dermatologist serving our region, managing issues including, but not limited to birthmarks, moles, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, acne, warts, vitiligo, hair loss, hemangiomas, and more.
Elizabeth "Lisa" Swanson, MD offers complete dermatology care for all ages—from newborns to the elderly. She is board certified in both dermatology and pediatric dermatology, and is the only board certified pediatric dermatologist in the Treasure Valley. Taking care of young patients is her top priority, and she especially loves treating kids and teens facing difficult dermatology conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and acne. Dr. Swanson is available for hospital-based consultations and procedures in addition to her outpatient clinical practice.
Dr. Swanson is a past president of the Colorado Dermatologic Society. She is also a frequent lecturer at conferences, discussing pediatric dermatology with clinical audiences from all across the country.
Dr. Swanson loves sports and spends her free time hiking, skiing, trying new restaurants and enjoying her family, friends and dogs.
