Hematologic Malignancies

St. Luke’s MSTI’s Hematologic Malignancies program provides treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other less common blood cancers. Our care team also offers autologous bone marrow/stem cell transplant at St. Luke’s Boise. We focus on your quality of life while providing novel therapies, access to clinical trials, and supportive care, close to home.

Procedures & Treatments

  • We offer autologous transplants (using your own stem cells) and syngeneic transplants (using cells from an identical twin).
  • Extracorporeal photopheresis is a type of treatment that can be used for patients with problems associated with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

  • Plasma exchange removes plasma from a patient's blood and replaces it with donor plasma before it is returned to the body.
