Rehabilitation

At St. Luke’s Rehabilitation, our goal is to help you live your best life, whether you’re returning to work or play after an injury, working to maintain independence with a disability, or recovering after an illness.

Our outpatient programs serve all ages and cover orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation in addition to physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Our goals are to help you rejoin the community, become as independent as possible, and build your confidence in managing your overall health and well-being after finishing therapy. We support patient care programs throughout St. Luke’s, including but not limited to joint replacement, arthritis care, spine wellness, occupational medicine, osteoporosis, bariatric medicine, sports medicine and chronic pain management.

As for inpatient care, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Hospital in Boise and Gwen Neilsen Anderson Rehabilitation Center in Twin Falls are licensed, accredited facilities dedicated to providing evidence-based rehabilitation services for patients age 14 and older. We also offer Idaho's only Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) at St. Luke's Children's Hospital for patients age 1-13. These facilities are intended for individuals who require short-term rehabilitation and close medical management. We provide a highly individualized approach to care, with the goal of maximizing function so each patient can live life to the fullest. We accomplish this through intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy; specialized 24/7 rehabilitation nursing care; physician care and oversight; and case management to set you up for success after discharge.
