Set Up Your TytoHome

All the care of the doctor, from the comfort of home

Welcome to a new kind of home health care experience. Your TytoHome device from TytoCare is your first line of care, bringing your family remote exams with St. Luke’s On-Demand Virtual Care providers for immediate answers at home. So, let's get started!

Set up your TytoHome device

  1. Charge your TytoHome and locate your WiFi password.
  2. Download the TytoCare App on your tablet or smartphone. Note: DO NOT create an account in the TytoCare app - it will be created for you automatically through MyChart.
  3. Download the MyChart App on your tablet or smartphone. If its your first time, select your state and St. Luke’s as your organization.
  4. Log into your MyChart App and click ‘TytoCare Setup’  from the menu. You will be guided through the activation process. This only needs to be done once. For further assistance, please call TytoCare Support at (208) 205-9656.
  5. Complete required set up for family members - For family, choose their MyChart account, open the menu, scroll down and tap ‘TytoCare Setup’. Confirm setup completion with the green icon in the upper right corner before proceeding to the next family member. For questions related to proxy access, call (208) 381-9000. 
  6. Complete Practice Visit - This non-clinical practice visit helps you feel comfortable using TytoHome. Open the MyChart app, click ‘TytoCare Setup’ and choose the ‘Start a Practice Visit’ tile. A popup will appear - start your practice visit.

Ready for a TytoCare visit now?

  1. Open the MyChart app on your tablet or smartphone - Tap ‘Menu’ in the app. Select ‘On-Demand Virtual Care’, confirm your physical location, and select the appropriate reason for visit. Note: For On-Demand care, you don’t need to pick an appointment time as you will join the On-Demand queue after you complete your e-check in.
  2. Complete MyChart eCheck-In - Complete the e-check-in process as instructed within the app. 
  3. Before your TytoCare visit - Ensure your TytoHome device is on and MyChart app notifications are enabled to get visit updates.
  4. Start your TytoCare visit - When you receive a notification that the provider is ready, launch MyChart and click ‘Join Video Visit’.

Or, want to schedule a TytoCare visit later? 

  1. Open the MyChart app on your tablet or smartphone - Tap ‘Menu’ in the app. Select ‘Schedule an Appointment’. Then select the ‘Schedule a TytoCare Video Visit’ tile and pick your preferred appointment time, then follow the prompts.
  2. Complete MyChart eCheck-In - Up to 15 minutes prior to your appointment, login to the MyChart app. Complete the e-check-in process when prompted.
  3. Begin your TytoCare visit - Click ‘Join Video Visit’. Your provider will be with you shortly. Ensure your TytoHome device is on and MyChart app notifications are enabled to get visit updates.
