Hanna McKenzie Young, LCSW works with children, adolescents, and their families at St. Luke's Children's Day Treatment Center. She specializes in clients with behavioral issues, learning challenges and disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, family relational problems, and oppositional defiant disorder.
Hanna uses cognitive-behavior therapy, collaborative and proactive solutions, DBT techniques, and mindfulness skills that is highly relational approach to therapy that is strengths-based and solution-focused. She works closely with parents and caregivers to assist families as a whole move through the healing process.
Hanna draws on her years of experience with adolescents to help her patients address their mental and behavioral health challenges.
Hanna earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Lewis-Clark State College and her master's degree in social work from Boise State University.
