About Summer A. Wilson

Biography

Summer Wilson, LCSW works with adults, children, teens, and families managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and social and behavioral concerns.

Summer helps children, teens, and adults learn to implement effective strategies to improve their daily lives. She uses a whole-person, collaborative-care approach, utilizing physicians and family members as appropriate. Summer has been trained to consider her patients' experience and perspective through a trauma-informed lens. She regularly utilizes dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, and yoga therapy in her work.


Summer earned two bachelor’s degrees in social science and social work from Boise State University, where she also completed her master’s degree in social work.

In her free time, Summer enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, and RV adventures with her family.
