About Sara E. Wenig

Biography

Sara Wenig, MS, CCC-SLP collaborates with specialists within the system to create the most appropriate plans of individualized care for her patients. Sara is currently developing cognitive and alternative augmentative communication programs to meet the needs of a rural population across all settings within the McCall community and surrounding areas.

Sara earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology at Idaho State University and completed her clinical fellowship in the outpatient, home health, and local skilled nursing facility settings. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Sara worked in Colorado and northern Idaho with at-risk youth and children and adults with developmental disabilities. This paved the way to her role as a speech therapist, and she enjoys incorporating her background knowledge into the St. Luke’s philosophy of patient-centered care.
