About Kathy Watkins

Biography

Kathy Watkins-Brecheen, CNM is a certified nurse-midwife with certifications as a first assistant at cesarean section, ultrasound, and water birth. She is also interested in substance abuse disorders during pregnancy. She delivers babies at St. Luke's Meridian.

Kathy earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Saskatchewan, and her master's degree in nursing with a midwifery specialty from the University of Utah. She also took a nursing leadership fellowship at Duke University. She is on the American College of Nurse Midwives Ultrasound Education Task Force and is liaison to the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.
