Doctor of Occupational Therapy
Siarra Walker, OTD, OTR/L, ATC has professional interests in neurological and orthopedic conditions. She has participated in research involving adaptive outdoor recreation for people with spinal cord injuries, and did internships at Lone Star Paralysis Foundation and the National Sports Center for the Disabled. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, she was an athletic trainer serving middle and high school athletes.
Siarra earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Lees-McRae College, and her graduate degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she served as the student representative for her cohort. In her free time she enjoys road trips, camping, hiking, spending time with her family, friends and dogs, and works on visiting all the national parks.
