About Anja E. Tjaden

Biography

Dr. Anja Tjaden is dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services for infants, children, and adolescents. Her clinical interests span a wide spectrum of pediatric care, including preventive medicine, childhood development, adolescent medicine, and management of acute and chronic pediatric illnesses. Her holistic approach to patient care emphasizes open communication and collaborative decision-making with families, ensuring that every child receives personalized and comprehensive treatment. Passionate about promoting children's health beyond the clinic, Dr. Tjaden has actively participated in community health initiatives including lobbying for river safety measures at the Oregon legislature and volunteer programs focused on providing access to community gardens for low-income families. 

Dr. Tjaden was born and raised in Boise, and in her free time, she enjoys good books, hiking, biking, skiing, and surfing. You might find her spending time outside with her family and dogs or searching for the best ice cream in Boise.  

Dr. Tjaden looks forward to caring for children and families in the Treasure Valley.
