Luke M. Sugden, DO

Luke Sugden, DO, FAWM is a fellowship trained primary care sports medicine physician. He specializes in non-surgical orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine. He enjoys working individually with patients to find treatment plans that get them back to the activities that they love. He has special interest in endurance, outdoor sports and wilderness medicine, and is a fellow in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.

Dr. Sugden earned his bachelor's degree in microbiology and a minor in chemistry from Boise State University. He attended medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His family medicine residency training took place at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho: Magic Valley Rural Training Track. He then went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship through the Montana Family Medicine Residency.

Dr. Sugden is originally from Jerome, Idaho, and is thrilled to be home caring for the community that raised him. In his free time, Dr. Sugden and his wife enjoy running, hiking, backpacking, road cycling, cross country skiing, and just about any other outside activity. He is always looking for ways to get outdoors and experience an adventure.
