About Leah M. Suddarth

Biography

Leah Suddarth, LCPC is a mental health therapist working with adolescents, teens and their families at St. Luke's Children's Day Treatment Center. In this role, she supports individuals who require a higher level of intervention than traditional outpatient therapy. The program specializes in intensive services that assist youth and families with stabilization of symptoms and reduction of risk.

Leah enjoys working with youth to assist them in developing a positive self-image and learning healthy ways to handle life’s difficulties. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational issues. She uses a combination of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

Leah earned her bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminal justice from the University of Idaho. She completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University.
