Doctor of Medicine
Katherine Stevens, MD is a pediatric hospitalist – a pediatrician who provides inpatient medical care for hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents. She serves as medical director for pediatric disaster preparedness at St. Luke's, physician representative for the emergency management committee at St. Luke's, and St. Luke's representative to the Idaho Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics for disaster preparedness. She is also the medical consultant for the St. Luke’s threat assessment team.
After completing her residency at Bellevue/NYU, where she served as chief resident, Dr. Stevens worked for the National Health Service Corps in an underserved area in Arizona. After moving to Boise, she worked in private practice for 16 years before joining St. Luke's.
