About Mari Beth Stein

Biography

Mari Beth Stein, RN, MN, AGNP-C, OCN works on the inpatient medical oncology and hematology unit as an inpatient oncology nurse practitioner. She is board certified as an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, and is also nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In the inpatient setting, Mari Beth helps newly diagnosed cancer patients understand their diagnosis and evaluate treatment options. She also facilitates timely outpatient oncology follow up, supports patients with treatment- and disease-related issues; and cares for patients who need extra symptom control, social support, and/or are nearing end of life.

Mari Beth earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the Denver School of Nursing and her master's degree in nursing from Boise State University. She also has a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology.

In her free time, Mari Beth combines her love of nursing with her love of the outdoors by volunteering and serving as the medical coordinator for Camp Rainbow Gold, a summer camp for children with cancer and their families. She is a devoted Boise State Broncos fan and an avid skier and cyclist. She enjoys spending as much time as possible outside with her husband and two children.
