Whitney Shofner Michalsky, MD has a special interest in women's interventions, the treatment of venous disease, and complex IVC filter retrieval. She also has advanced training in complex retrograde transvenous obliteration of gastric varices and treatment of venous malformations.

In her spare time, Dr. Shofner Michalsky is a health and fitness guru who enjoys running, biking, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter.
