About Brynn Shireman

Biography

Brynn Shireman, LCSW is a mental health therapist working with children, adolescents, and their families. She specializes in working with a range of concerns, including adjustment to illness, anxiety, grief and loss, mood disorders, and trauma. Brynn utilizes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT); cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); and solution focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based therapy techniques. 

Brynn enjoys working with adolescents who identify as LGBTQIA+ and youth in foster care placements. She is also a certified grief counseling specialist and a certified social worker in health care.

Brynn earned her both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Boise State University.  In her free time, she enjoys group fitness classes, watching movies, spending time with family, and baking.
