Physical Therapist
Sonya Sawyer, PT has special interest in working with infants and medically fragile children. She also specializes in working with children with neurological conditions, sensory processing disorders, and autism. Her experience includes work in NICU, PICU, pediatric inpatient and outpatient care, home health pediatrics, pediatric oncology, school-based physical therapy, early intervention (0-3 yrs) physical therapy, aquatic pediatric therapy, and pediatric equipment/wheelchair assessments. Additional specialized training includes pediatric neurodevelopmental technique (NDT), therapeutic listening, TheraTogs™, TheraSuit® (also known as Adeli Suit, Penguin Suit, Polish Suit, stabilizing pressure input orthoses, and therapy suit).
Sonya earned a master's degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University.
