About Richard A. Sandison

Biography

Richard Sandison, MD has special interest in adult medicine, including the elderly.

Dr. Sandison earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. He also completed an internship in family medicine at Marshall University, where the faculty named him resident of the year. Next, Dr. Sandison and his wife moved to Africa, where he worked in a mission hospital in rural Kenya. Upon returning from Kenya, he finished his family medicine residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Sandison has worked as a family physician in Twin Falls ever since, except for a one-year sabbatical spent serving a medical mission in Ecuador.

Dr. Sandison and his wife are the proud parents of three adult daughters. In his free time, he enjoys ultra endurance sports, sailing, and listening to great novels.
