Biography

McCade Powell, PT, DPT, is an experienced pediatric physical therapist who enjoys working with patients and their families to improve quality of life and functional independence. He loves helping children achieve their goals and working with them to be able to participate in fun and meaningful play activities with family and friends.

McCade works with pediatric patients of all ages and abilities. He is accustomed to working with a diverse population of children with varying conditions affecting their gross motor development. Some of the patients McCade is familiar working with include patients with cerebral palsy, torticollis and plagiocephaly, idiopathic toe walking, autism, and Down syndrome, as well as genetic syndromes, neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic issues, and traumatic injuries. He works to meet each child at their level to make therapy fun.

McCade earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University, and his doctor of physical therapy degree from Emory University.

Prior to joining St. Luke’s, McCade worked with children in the Las Vegas area in an outpatient and home health setting. Outside of clinical treatment, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, biking, playing with Lego, and wood working.
