About Heidi Nagel

Biography

Heidi Nagel, MS, CGC has special interest in bereavement care in pregnancy, as well as education for care providers in genetics and genetic testing technologies in the prenatal setting. Heidi has been involved in coordinating genetics education for the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, and has served as a trainee mentor for students in genetic counseling training programs across the country.

Heidi earned her bachelor's degree in biology at Pacific Lutheran University and her master's degree in medical genetics/genetic counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
