  • As a person with family actively working as medical professionals I am deeply disappointed with my experience with LeeAnne Mehling, NP. Since, our first appointment with our new born she has been less than informative. As first time parents we are relying on our medical professionals to guide us through these new times. We looked for a new pediatrician for our daughter however, st. Luke’s advised us that we were not allowed to switch pediatricians until she was 6 months old. In respecting this we continued to see LeeAnne. At our daughter’s two month wellness check her father and I both agreed not to have the PCV shot given. Mehling was frustrated but did not order this vaccine. Our daughter received all other recommended shots for this age. Fast forward to the four month wellness check, our appointment was just as dry as all the others. Mehling stated that our daughter would not be getting any new vaccines at this appointment but she would be receiving boosters. When the CMA’s came in to give her boosters they only stated what the oral vaccine (rotavirus) was but not the rest. After all the chaos was over we were confused about which vaccines our daughter just received and had to call Mehling back into the examination room. She had confirmed that she sent in the order for the PCV shot. We had denied this vaccination and yet our daughter was given this. The CMA’s did not preform their checks by telling us which vaccine was which. They just gave them to her and left. Mehling’s careless attention to detail is not acceptable. The lack of notes in my daughter’s file and the lack of personal interaction with us her parents is unacceptable. We will not be returning to St. Luke’s for our daughter’s pediatric care.

  • Leanne is always very nice and listens to your questions and concerns. My son absolutely adores her! She was local and once she moved to a different location we did to! She is worth the hour drive to see her :)
