About Alicia D. Martin-Cowger

Biography

Alicia Martin-Cowger, M.S., CCC-SLP has worked with patients of every age to address feeding and swallowing disorders, and has training in oral motor and sensory approaches, including the SOFFI approach, SOS therapy, MDTP, and in respiratory muscle strength training to support functional swallowing. She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient, an infant toddler program, home health, schools, and outpatient.

Alicia earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Idaho State University. She lives on a small farm where she and her husband raised their five children. She enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains and playing games, gardening, reading, and yarn arts.
