About Amanda M. Lee

Biography

Amanda Lee, DO, FAAP has a passion for working with underserved and medically complex children, adolescents and immigrant families. Specific areas of interest include community health, understanding and addressing adverse childhood experiences to prevent poor health outcomes, and child health advocacy. Dr Lee enjoys forming partnerships with youth and families that improve health and wellness.

Dr. Lee earned her bachelor's degree in international relations and languages from American University and her master's degree in medical sciences from Drexel University. Dr. Lee loves teaching resident physicians, medical and nursing students.

Dr. Lee grew up in Venezuela and is both bilingual and bicultural. She spent eight years working in the Yakima Valley with immigrant, farm worker, and Yakama Nation families. She is excited to be working in Caldwell and looks forward to learning about her new community. Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
