  • Initially, our experience with Dr. Lawler seemed positive—she came across as friendly and knowledgeable. However, things changed quickly. We brought one of our children in for mental health support, and what we understood to be a standard conversation led to involvement with a state caseworker. That felt unexpected and alarming, and it was not clearly communicated to us ahead of time. We also felt there was consistent pressure to place our children on medication, which we were not comfortable with based on our past experiences. Our concerns did not feel fully respected. More concerning, Dr. Lawler decided to discontinue a medication my husband and I have both been on for over 20 years, stating she was not comfortable prescribing it. Shortly after we raised concerns, our charts were closed, and we were left without medication for several days while trying to establish care with a new provider. Overall, the experience felt misleading and poorly handled, and it created unnecessary stress for our family.

  • I’m extremely pleased with having Dr. Lawler as my GP. She is knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. She works with me to find the best solutions for my healthcare and I never feel rushed when I see her. In addition, she is quick to respond to messages sent through the portal. She truly cares for her patients.
