Carrie Kyrias, MS, CCC-SLP specializes in the treatment of children and adults. She works in the hospital, out-patient, and swing-bed settings. Her practice focuses primarily on developmental speech and language delays/disorders, dysphagia (swallowing) disorders, adult neurogenic diseases, traumatic brain injury (cognition), stroke, aphasia, dysarthria, and vocal cord dysfunction and paralysis. She also performs videofluoroscopic swallow studies to assess swallowing physiology for swallowing therapy and management. Carrie is certified in the use of VitalStim® for swallowing disorders and the LSVT LOUD™ (Lee Silverman Voice Therapy) treatment protocol for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.Carrie earned both her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Idaho State University-Meridian. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
